Ms. Sara Dubé is appointed Director of Public Affairs

Trois-Rivières, September 24, 2018 – Mr. Gaétan Boivin, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Trois-Rivières Port Authority (TRPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Sara Dubé as Director of Public Affairs.

Ms. Dubé is an experienced advisor in communication strategies. Over the past 17 years, she has held various communications and public relations positions in the private, municipal, education and cultural sectors. Most recently, she was in charge of communications for Alcoa-Aluminerie de Deschambault and later for Aluminerie de Bécancour inc. She has extensive experience and strong skills in strategic communications, crisis management, community and media relations, as well as event organization.

Her experience and skills will be used in the framework of the TRPA’s On Course for 2030development plan, but also in the development and deployment of strategies for relations with the community, partners and government authorities. As media relations manager, she will also act as spokesperson.

Ms. Dubé holds a bachelor’s degree in public communications and industrial relations from Université Laval, a certificate in human resources management from the Université du Québec à Rimouski and is in the process of obtaining a master’s degree in social communications from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
