The TRPA is a founding member of Green Marine. Green Marine is an environmental certification program for the North American marine industry. Green Marine provides a comprehensive framework for members of the marine sector to reduce their environmental footprint by adopting practical and measurable measures. It is a rigorous, transparent and inclusive initiative that targets priority on environmental issues using specific performance indicators. Progress is assessed annually using the performance indicators identified in the Green Marine Environmental Program. The City of Trois-Rivières has established a sustainable development certification program to publicly recognize organizations that integrate sustainable development practices into their daily operations. The TRPA has been certified by the City of Trois-Rivières for the last two years.
