Environment

The Port of Trois-Rivières pays particular attention to the potential environmental effects of all its projects by conducting robust and rigorous environmental assessments. The purpose of the assessments is, among other things, to fulfill consultation obligations, to anticipate the environmental effects of projects prior implementation, and to propose concrete and effective measures to reduce the anticipated impacts.
Terminal 21 is currently undergoing an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment in order to obtain authorization from the Canadian Impact Assessment Agency. An update will soon be posted on the Agency’s website.
